| Hello Bonecrusher Family, July-Aug 2006 As the temperature reaches the high’s of 120 degrees your mighty loved ones continue to serve with distinction. We are reaching the tail end of our deployment and I just want to thank you all for your continued support and strength towards your men during our tour of duty. We continue to raise the bar throughout the battalion with reenlistments, promotions and soldier of the month and quarterly boards. I am very proud to lead and serve with this distinct group of men who continue to excel in every thing they do. We continue to stay strong and focused as we face many obstacles. To count, your men have conducted countless number of combined Iraqi Security Forces patrols to stabilize the area in which we operate to allow local nationals to feel safe and secure. To add many humanitarian assistant drops have been conducted in order to support the well being of the local children and adults in the area. They are very receptive to your love one’s and treat them like all-stars. Each and every one of you has something to be proud of. Your men are conducting strict business no nonsense. I would like to say they are truly making a difference in our area of operation. Congratulations to SPC Goodall for winning the Soldier of the Month and Quarter board which was held in June. However in July, Bonecrushers continue to raise the bar by SPC Hyde winning the July Soldier of the Month board. Recently the following soldier’s have reaffirmed their oath and reenlisted to further serve this great nation: SGT Torres, E. and SPC Bobourchock. Job well done! Also praise goes out to SGT Torres, E. for receiving an U.S. Citizenship on the Fourth of July, a truly dedicated and motivated individual. Finally, congratulations to SPC Ricardo Narvaez-Morales who was promoted to SGT on 1 Aug. A well deserved promotion for my highly skilled Supply Sergeant. Again, I would like to thank the families of the soldiers for all your support and patience. Always remember to PLAY LIKE A CHAMPION TODAY! Again if there is anything I can do please email me at raymondjohnsonjr1@us.army.mil. RAYMOND E. JOHNSON, JR.
