| Dear Bonecrusher’s and loved ones, June 2006 It has been my distinct pleasure to serve as the Commander of the Bonecrushers thus far. Since our arrival, our mission has been and continues to be one of great importance to Iraq and its people. We have conducted raids and patrols with Iraqi security forces to promote a positive image of cooperation among the Iraqi people. We have worked through many obstacles both in our area of operations and here on the Forward Operating Base. We are paving a path towards peace and democracy in Iraq and greatly value your support as we push on through this deployment. In February, soldiers began taking their leave so if you haven’t seen your Bonecrusher yet then look forward to their return soon. Congratulations go to SPC Chamber’s for our highest physical training test score of 294 out of 300. We would also like to extend Congratulations to SPC Hill who just took leave to see his new baby for the first time. The brand new Bonecrusher website is now up in its entirety and ready for you all to view. On this site you will find helpful information on the 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell area housing, the latest pictures of your Bonecrusher’s in action and a lot more. Our Morale, Welfare and Recreation room has movie showings, game rooms, board games, karaoke and several other features and is open 24/7. We have an awesome gym and a pool to cool off in.
